The Four Assurances that currently guide the education segment of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be an underlying theme in all other federal education legislation in the years ahead.
One thing is very clear: we cannot continue to try to educate students within a system that no longer works.
If we are to move education where it needs to be, the International Center believes we need to view the Assurances from a different perspective.
