Developing Rigorous and Relevant Gold Seal Lessons
Gold Seal Lessons are tasks or activities designed to teach to specific academic standards, performance indicators, objectives, or benchmarks. Each Gold Seal Lesson is centered around a highly motivating theme, activity, or project. The lessons are multidisciplinary and deal with real-world situations. This workshop is designed to help teachers and administrators create Quadrant D Gold Seal Lessons that are both academically rigorous and real-world relevant. The workshop will help educators develop lessons that focus on the skills and knowledge assessed by high-stakes tests and considered most useful to graduates.
